A Fun-filled First Term in Senior Infants!

What a busy and fun-filled First Term it’s been in Senior Infants! We learned about the seasons and did lots of art work. We learned a lot about 2D and 3D shapes and formed different colour patterns. We really enjoyed being engineers and mathematicians during STEM week. We enjoyed doing science experiments and having fun in technology with Bee Bots!

We love to keep active and have been practising our throwing and catching skills in GAA and football this term!

Three of the themes we looked at this term were ‘School’, ‘Autumn/The Harvest’ and ‘Space’. We were very imaginative in role play- we were teachers, principals and pupils in the school, and then astronauts and space engineers in rockets heading into space.
