A busy term in Senior Infants
What a busy third term it has been in Senior Infants!
We had a lot of fun at our ‘Go Kids Go’ school tour. We went on the bus and travelled to the centre where we had the chance to take part in so many fun activities. There were climbing frames, slides, ball pools, swings, football and many more activities. What an action-packed day!
We had so much fun at our Sports Day this year! First we had our races in the yard- we competed in three different types of races-a running race, a bean bag race and a potato and spoon race. The throwing and water relay were tricky but we did so well in these activities! We had so much fun in the hall when we took part in an obstacle course and tug of war. We joined in with Junior Infants to build spaghetti bridges using marshmallows for our STEM activity. We saved the treat until last and had the chance to get icecream from the ice cream truck! What a fun day!
We walked to the park and had a lot of fun having a ‘Teddy Bear’s Picnic’ with Junior Infants. We brought out teddy bears along and brought a treat while playing with our friends in the park.
Another fun activity we have enjoyed this term was our trip to the beach. We had a chance to bring in our buckets and spades and head to the beach for sandcastle building. We are fantastic at building tall sand castles!
