Since Christmas we have been exploring 2 very exciting themes in Aistear, they are the doctors and space!
In January, we learnt all about the work of a doctor. We had a visit from Corrina, who told us all about her work as a doctor. In the home corner, we had a doctor’s office setup. In the doctor’s office we gave injections, strapped up injured body parts and listened to everyone’s lungs and heartbeats. Mr McAndrew even received brain surgery one morning!
In February, we moved onto the theme of space. We have been learning all about the planets and we have been flying the spaceship in our home corner. In small world, we have been seeing what life on a rocket ship is like. We even made our own rockets in art and launched them as a class!
