3rd Class took part in the Athletics Ireland ‘Fit4Class’ programme. It was full of really fun games and we really enjoyed taking part in it. When we had completed the programme we had a visit from a special guest David Gillick and he gave us cool wristbands. David Gillick is a former Olympian and he is the double European Indoor 400m champion (He is also a MasterChef Ireland Champion!). His record is 45.52 seconds and we had to run with him for this amount of time! It was really tough! We also asked him lots of questions AND we got his autograph!
