For our school tour we went to Dublinia. It was a really fun trip. We learned a lot about the Vikings. We learned lots of facts. Here are a few facts about the Vikings. Did you know that a Viking long ship can carry 100 people or more. The Vikings believed in many Gods such as Thor and Odin. Brian Boru died in the battle of Clontarf. It is also a made up fact that Vikings wore horns on their helmets. When you go to Dublinia you get to see an old map of Dublin and skeletons. One of the skeletons had lost his skull and hurt his back really badly. But the other skeleton was good; she did not hurt her back. However, she did have a bad mouth infection. When she died her infection had not cleared so when we saw her she only had 2 teeth. Then we got to see where the Vikings would trade their goods. There were food, writing and medicine stalls. It was really fun learning about the Vikings. For a treat we got to McDonalds. It was so much fun and a really great school tour!
