3rd class really enjoyed learning about ‘Life in Norman Ireland’ this year. They especially enjoyed learning about Norman castles and their features including drawbridges, dungeons, guards’ room, trenches and mottes. In groups, 3rd class used recycled materials to create their own Norman castles.

3rd class really enjoyed using clay in art. They learned many different techniques to be able to manipulate the clay into the shape they wanted, pinching, pulling, rolling and how to score and scratch the clay to attach different parts together and finally decorate it with paint.
