Neurodiversity

We learned about neurodiversity. It has a symbol that is a rainbow infinity loop. It means that everyone’s brains are different and everyone should be treated the same. We learned that there is autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia and ADHD. They are all different ways that the brain works. We all have something unique and special about our brains. We learned about it because it was Neurodiversity Week and there is a new group going up called Neurodiversity Sandymount that promotes neurodiversity. We made posters to go up in the school and around Sandymount for them. The school got special Neurodiversity Sandymount wristbands and leaflets. We had lots of fun learning about Neurodiversity and it helps us to understand one another better. By Peter
