STEAM week is always a class favourite when it comes around each year.
This year, we focused on a different element of STEAM over the 5 days/
Robots were an area of focus. In pairs, we planned and designed robots that could help our everyday lives. We then used KNEX to build a prototype of our robot and presented them to the class. The creativity was flowing!
One of the days, we had a visit from Margaret Horner. Margaret allowed us to see how light is split into each colour of the rainbow. She also showed us how to make electrical circuits.
We even got to merge art and maths together by creating a hidden message mosaic.
Overall, it was a super and busy week and we can’t wait for it to roll around next year!
