4th Class World Book Day!

Last Thursday 3rd March 2016, we celebrated World Book Day! We did lots of fun book related school work including the following favourites:
1)Mystery Book Activity and 2) Extreme Reading

Mystery Book Activity by Amelia Flanagan

We did a mystery book activity for our homework on world book day. We had to wrap a book in wrapping paper and then, when we had to make sure it was all wrapped up like a parcel, we wrote a description of the book. We had to make sure we didn’t give the main information like the title, author, and main characters name so the person who was reading the description only had that to judge the book. It was like not judging a book by its cover.

Extreme Reading by Isabel Connolly

For World book day on Wednesday, we did extreme reading pictures for homework. Extreme reading is simply taking photos reading in an extreme condition. Have a look at some of our work:
