We ended a great half term in 4th Class with writing scary stories. The children worked hard in groups writing scary stories about haunted houses, curses, spiders and so much more. When they finished they used a Hallowe’en story sound board to add noise effects and bring their stories to life! We then all gathered around the campfire and told our spooky stories while eating some yummy treats! The children’s amazing costumes really helped create a spooky atmosphere in the classroom!
Spooky Stories at Hallowe’en!
While sticking with the theme of Halloween, we learned all about the skeleton in science! The children were amazed to learn that they have more bones than adults! Then we used our knowledge and a lot of straws to create our very own skeleton art!
