3rd class received a visit from a heritage in schools expert. Francesca is an expert in Irish archaeology and gave us a wonderful presentation focusing on the Vikings.

She brought in some incredible artefacts too which we all got to look at and handle.

Francesca also told us how a lot of the words we use today are originally from the Vikings. Did you know all the days of the week are named from the Vikings!
