4th class were recently invited to attend a Water Workshop in the Geological Survey of Ireland in Beggar’s Bush.
We were very lucky as we had a lovely, fresh morning for our walk down. As we arrived we sat in a lecture theatre and we chatted about the water cycle and rainfall across Ireland. Surprisingly enough, Dublin gets the least amount of rainfall out of all areas in Ireland.
We then broke up into 4 groups and rotated around 4 stations. Each station we were completing experiments and games about water. It was very enjoyable and we are grateful to have been given the opportunity to attend.
