Recount Writing

  We learnt about Recount writing.  We rescued minions and put them into jelly rings with paper clips. Then we explained what we did by using time words and putting them in the right order.

We made predictions about what was going to happen next in “The Tear Thief” by Carol Ann Duffy.  We practiced making a “P” sign for when we make predictions.  We also talked about the title, author, illustrator and the blurb of the book.
